This upper wing skin repair was carried out, outdoors, on a substrate that was over 1/2 inch thick. In this image the heater cells are shown placed to permit the tacky tape application for the vacuum bag.  Surface preparation, silane and epoxy primer application as well as the composite repair were achieved without breaking the set-up between treatments.
